Mr. Luther “Luther” F. is an amateur music appreciator and avid list-maker. He discovered the joys of music at an early age, jamming out to the profanity-free lyrics of Linkin Park and being held back in his fifth grade piano class. From there, he expanded his musical listening experience to include alt-metal acts (System of a Down, Rage Against the Machine, Tool), happy indie rock bands, and 90’s hip hop artists. At the tender age of 13, he remembers that he once remarked that his favorite rappers were all curiously members of the Nation of Islam.
Although in his older age of 23 (he now has four gray hairs) he is not able to name as many of the songs he hears playing at coffee shops, he is still at the top of his game at providing unsolicited opinions about music. These days he is especially keen on the use of cellos in indie music, bands with both male and female lead vocalists, and film score composers who have rock backgrounds.
If he had to name his proudest moment, he would pick the time he typed out “Inni mer syngur vitleysingur” instead of just letting Google fill the rest in (but only after whining about being asked such an annoying question).
He specializes in curating soul-crushingly sad music and creepy campfire songs.
